Skills and Abilities
Programming and Design
·
Extensive work with PHP web-based applications using a variety of data sources (ie. MySQL, Oracle, flat-file, XML, etc). Projects have included (but not limited to): project management, calendar and event scheduling, image gallery, product catalogue.

Designed and developed Carrier-side and System-side Administration Web-applications to administer a large wireless application platform. Used PHP and Oracle to configure, manipulate and report upon the platform.
·
Designed and developed a functional intranet website, from scratch, that was used by the entire company to handle scheduling, project management, to-do lists, discussion forums, daily logs, and more.
·
Trained and managed another developer to create new tools for the company intranet.
·
Worked with a team of graphic designers to implement website designs and application demos into functioning websites using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and text-editors.
·
Designed and implemented a secure administration interface allowing easier site content manipulation.
·
Created graphics (original, or with respect to previous designs) on demand using Adobe Photoshop.
·
Reorganized sites for ease of navigation, while retaining original design style.
·
Worked within a team to administer and update an entire website (including: regular meetings, site promotion, backend programming, graphic design, consultation).
Systems Administration

Installed, configured, and maintained a CVS Repository for a team of 10 developers.

Was involved in the maintenance of several machines. Included Apache and PHP installation, configuration, and upgrading.

Conducted meetings regarding the CVS Repository, versioning.

Worked within a team of 4 people responsible for the front-end applications of a wireless application platform, which itself was a part of the larger 'Research and Development' department.
